Northwest Narcolepsy is an in-person support group for people with narcolepsy and idiopathic hypersomnia in the Seattle area. Our goal is to provide individuals affected by these conditions with opportunities to meet each other face to face in a safe and caring space for the purposes of commiseration, resource sharing, and mutual, compassion support. Though our individual experiences may vary, our commonalities are the foundation of this group.
Our group is working to raise narcolepsy awareness through our first Dream Big walk in Seattle, WA on May 13th. We'll be walking the 2.8 mile loop around Green Lake in Seattle. Help support us by walking with us and/or donating.
Find us on Facebook and/or on Meetup.
DREAM BIG! 2017 is an exciting opportunity to raise awareness about narcolepsy, a serious sleep disorder which affects at least one in every 2000 people. Walk donations and sponsorship will support the work of Narcolepsy Network, a nationwide nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing early diagnosis of narcolepsy, advocating for and supporting people with narcolepsy and their families, and promoting research for treatment and a cure.
